Welcome to my site!
For those of you who don’t personally know me, my name is Renae Talen and I am so excited to finally be launching my own website and blog. This is something that friends, family and clients have encouraged me to do for a long time now as I feel like I am always sharing workout tips, trying out healthier recipes, researching women’s health, pre and post-natal training and learning the art of becoming fit.
I am a Certified Personal Trainer working in the Seattle/Bellevue area at a large health club and an aspiring Pre and Post-Natal Birth Coach. After getting my Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Nutrition, I knew I wanted to work in Preventative medicine through helping to heal people through exercise, gut health and nutrition.
One of my biggest passions is working with women throughout the motherhood transition as well as all stages of her life. Oftentimes, pregnancy and the postpartum stage can be the most vulnerable time of a woman’s life, but it can also be the most empowering! What if we as women could learn how to train our bodies, mind and spirit for pregnancy and labor? What if we could become the warriors we desire to be in this process and empower other women to do the same? What if we could leave behind that legacy to our children and those who are watching how we live our lives?
My goal is to help bridge the gap in women’s health through providing women with proper education, exercise instruction and nutrition advice as it relates to their overall health, pelvic floor function, pregnancy and postpartum life.
